The Association for the Promotion of Plastics, established in 1981 in Pune, has been a pioneering force in advocating for opportunities within the plastic industry. Through numerous seminars and seven exhibitions held in Pune, the association has played a vital role in showcasing the advancements and potential of the plastic sector. With its dedication to promoting awareness and fostering connections within the industry, it has emerged as a leading organization in organizing exhibitions throughout Maharashtra, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the plastic industry in the region. The basic objectives of the association are to promote the growth of Plastics and related industries, create common platform and to bring together the members, solve common problems of Plastic and Polymer Industry, and to educate the members and propagate up-to-date knowledge related to Plastics-Polymers and spread technical advancement.
Vision
APP has a future-focused approach and a vision to provide platform for create more opportunities for entrepreneurs to innovate & grow. Ultimately gives boost to the plastic industry. To achieve this, APP will organize knowledge-sharing seminars, workshops, study tours and more. They will also organize exhibitions on a national and global scale to showcase the Indian plastic industry & economy and its strengths.

APP shall work continuously for Indian Plastics Industry to create awareness in Innovation, World class in Quality Systems, New Technology, Cost Competitiveness and Process Standards.
